noon for Alice Ida Dorman Thom—
as of Shelton. She died on Febru-
ary 3 at the Fir Lane Health and
Rehabilitation Center. She was
93.
She was born in Troy, Idaho,
on February 9, 1903 to Gus and
Esther (Holmes) Swanson. She
attended schools in Tacoma. She
was married in Tacoma in 1921 to
Eugene L. Dorman, who died. She
was married in Saint Helens, Or-
egon, to Robert W. Thomas, who
died.
Mrs. Thomas was a homemak—
er. She was a member of Mount
Olive Lutheran Church and the
Shelton Garden Club. She was a
charter member of the Mason
General Hospital Auxiliary. She
loved to garden
She was preceded in death by
four brothers and a sister. Sur-
vivors include her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Kenneth and Sandy
Dorman of Juneau, Alaska; her
daughter and son-in-law, Beverly
and Joseph Huss of Tumwater;
her brother, August Swanson of
Tacoma; six grandchildren and
numerous great~grandchildren.
The Reverend James Markus
will officiate at graveside services
scheduled to begin at 1 pm. on
February 6 at Shelton Memorial
Park. Arrangements are by Mc-
Comb Funeral Home.
