Albert Dexter - 1887
Dear Diane,
Our records only cover the period from 1874 through 1926. Attached is the list of owners from
Albert Dexter in 1887, when the house was built, to Emma Holliday who owned it as of 1926.
Unfortunately, I can find no information on Albert Dexter. His name does not show up in our files
nor the local history files at the P.G. Library. Perhaps he lived out oftown and used the house as a
vacation / summer home. Although Emma Holliday owned the house in 1926, she did not actually
live in it at that time. She rented it out to Floyd & Gladys Bryant according to the 1926 city
directory (attached). Floyd was a house painter by trade.
I'm sorry lhat I don't have any more information.
