This year’s Guns & Hoses
Softball Tournament brought
more excitement and fun than
in year’s past.
Lake Stevens Fire and Lake
Stevens Police joined forces
to raise money and food do-
nations for the Lake Stevens
Food Bank.
A barbeque before the game
raised over $550 and rice and
beans were donating by many
who attended.
Airlift Northwest started the
game in style by landing their
helicopter on the field at Lake
Stevens High School.
The game was played on
Tuesday, Aug. 8 and this year’s
champs were Lake Stevens Po-
lice.
The Lake Stevens Police team
beat the firefighters this year
and DJ Bob Justice announced
the game and provided sound.
Annual Guns & Hoses softball game helps out Food Bank
The four members of Every-
body Panic are getting them-
selves ready to perform on the
Main Stage at Hempfest this
Friday in Seattle at 4 p.m.
The band’s founder, Scott
McKinley is originally from
Lake Stevens and the group is
produced by CaviGold Records
LLC in Snohomish County.
Other members include lead
singer Ty, from Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma.
Not only does Ty have great
vocals but he is a black belt
Band Everybody Panic has ties to Lake
Stevens, Snohomish County
in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and has his
own academy in Oklahoma
City called Redline Jiu Jitsu.
Drummer Levi is originally
from Oklahoma as well but re-
cently relocated to Anaheim,
Clifornia to be with the band
full time.
Guitar player, Provo, is the
last member of the rock band.
The four have played shows
together for years but started
wiritng music together just six
years ago.
