Scott Marven Wade Scott Marven Wade, 55, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, at his home in Belfair. He was born on August 21, 1956, in Reno, Nev. to M a r V e n A l m a Wade and Alice Ber- t h a l e n e McClana- han Wade. At the age of 5, Wade he moved with his family to Idaho Falls where he attended school and grad- uated from Skyline High School. In November of 1976, he married Carol Ann Fouts in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Seat- tle Temple in June of 1985. In April of 1981, he en- listed in the United States Navy. He made the Navy his career and received the rank of Petty Officer First Class. He was a Supply Management Specialist and ordered submarine and ship parts. During his serv1ce he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achieve- Scott ment Medal (three awards), Meritorious Unit Commen- dation (two Awards), Battle Efficiency (five awards), Good Conduct Medal (five awards), Navy Expedition- ary Medal, Marine Corps Ex- peditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal,“ Armed Forces Expedition- ary Medal (three awards), Sea Service (seven awards), Coast Guard Special Opera- tion and Expert Pistol Medal (two awards). He is survived by his sis- ters Carie Woodhouse (Gary) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jodi An- derson (Caleb) of Lewisville, Idaho and Peggy (Dennis) Greener of Idaho Falls, Idaho and brother Roger Wade (Ge- neine) of Layton, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sis- ter Cathy Wade. The family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 22, at Wood Funeral Home 273 N. Ridge.
