gestive heart failure Saturday,
January 10, in Shelton. He was
61 and resided in Shelton for the
past 27 years.
He was born
June 18, 1942 in
Bremerton to
Raleigh William
and Florence
(Gibson) Cadyi
He married
Mary Jo Hansen
on April 6, 1974
in Belfair. Pre-
viously, he was
married to Diana
Allen. That mar-
riage ended in -_ ,,
divorce. Jim R. Cady
Mr. Cady re-
tired from PUD 8 in Mason Coun—
ty and was also a Christmas tree
farmeri He enjoyed hunting, fish-
ing, flytying, trapping and telling
stories and jokes.
He was a member of the Shel-
ton Lions Club, the National Rifle
Association, the Pacific Interna-
tional Trapshooting Association,
the Washington State Trappers
Association, the Evergreen
Sportsmen’s Club and the Shelton
Nimrod Club.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Raleigh “Bill" Cady, in
1995.
Surviving are his wife Mary Jo
Cady of Shelton; sons Byron Cady
of Dayton, Bill Cady of Belfair
and Bob Cady of Bellevue; broth-
ers Don Cady and his wife Pau-
lette of Belfair, and Alan Cady
and his wife Carla of Silverdale;
and mother Florence Cady of Bel-
fair.
A memorial service will be held
at 1 pm. Saturday, January 17,
at the First Baptist Church in
Shelton. Pastor Greg Scandrett
will officiate, Inurnment will be
at a later date at Twin Firs Cem-
etery in Belfair.
Memorial donations may be
made to Jim Cady Memorial for
Mason County Dialysis Center, in
care of Key Bank, 410 West Rail-
road Avenue, Shelton.
