Inside this issue:
―Society‖ is an associa-
tion, union, group, circle,
people, humanity and the
world. These are a few of
the choices given in the
thesaurus for the word
Society. It doesn’t show
as just one person, it is
multiple people.
It takes people, not a per-
son to help a society. Our
society is looking at host-
ing our first conference
this fall. It will take all
the individuals of our so-
ciety to attain this
achievement . We’ve been
blessed with a small
group that has put in
much effort to look into
the process that is
needed. Now at this
meeting is when ALL
of us need to step up
and fulfill our obliga-
tions as members of
this society.
When you come to Thurs-
day’s meeting, plan on
committing your time and
efforts to help with this
conference.
If you aren’t comfortable
on the front lines, there
are plenty of things that
need to be done in the
back. There will be flyers
to create, print, mail.
There will be arrange-
ments for food, vendors,
registration, and helping
with coordinating every-
thing.
Lets band together and
make this a success.

What’s Your Story?
Generations Project.
These are shows that I
watch on Monday evenings
from the BYU channel.
Maybe this is a channel that
you receive also.
What’s Your Story is a
filmed weekend seminar to
help people understand
that everyone’s story is
interesting to others for the
differences and the same-
ness of our experiences.
In Generations Project
they choose one person to
help them find out more
about one ancestor, and
usually find out about more
along the way.
What was the reason
that the supply ship,
supposed to return to
the Roanoke Island
Colony, was delayed
for two years?
