Carl H. Sammons, 58, of Bel-
fair, died on August 26‘ He was
born on July 15, 1938 in Modale,
Iowal
Mr. Sammons married his
wife, Shirley Elaine Justis, on De-
cember 9, 1962, in Blairstown,
Missouri.
He served in the United States
Navy for 12 years and worked as
an electrician at the Puget Sound
Naval Shipyard for 19 years, re-
tiring on May 4, 1993.
Mr, Sammons was preceded in
death by his wife on October 29,
1984.
He is survived by his sons,
Michael Sammons of Salina, Kan-
sas, and Roy Sammons of Spo-
kane; his daughters, Joyce Bren-
dehl of Belfair, Debbie Daviner of
Bremerton and Karen King of
Belfair; his brother, FrankSam-
mans; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held on Satur»
day, August 31, at Lewis Funeral
Chapel with cremation at Forest
Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements
were under the direction of Lewis
Funeral Chapel in Bremerton.
