Betty Jean Strutz of Shelton
died at Saint Peter Hospital on
December 22. She was 75.
She was born in Chehalis on
October 2, 1921 to Jack and Luce
lia (Lind) Spitzner. She loved to
knit, crochet and play shuffle-
board. She also enjoyed camping,
fishing and clam digging in the
out-of—doors.
Her husband, William J.
Strutz, preceded her in death in
1970. Survivors include her son,
William Strutz of Shelton; her
stepsons, Paul Strutz of Blue
Creek and Gerel Strutz of Addy;
her stepdaughter, Vicki Cutler of
Lincoln City, Oregon; her brother,
Jack Spitzner of Crescent City,
California; her cousin, Bobby
Spitzner of Chehalis; and 12
grandchildren
A memorial celebration will be

Olym in. The cause of death is not
availa le.
She was born Oct. 2, 1921, to Jack
and Lucelia (Lind) Spitzner in
Chehalisl
She married William J. Strulz. He
preceded her in death in 1970‘
Mrs. Strutz loved to knit, crochet
and lay shufile board. She also en-

ing, fishing and clam digging.
She is survived by a son, William,
Shelton; two stepsons, Paul, Blue
Creek, and Care], Addy; a step-
daughter, Vicki Cutler, Lincoln City,
Ore; a brother, Jack, Crescent City,

cousm.
A memorial service will be held at
