“I know there are many individuals here today who know the patience and
perseverance required to complete a degree by sandwiching classes, term
papers,
oral reports and math homework between full-time jobs, family and other
adult
responsibilities. I figured that in order to complete 64 credit hours, I
wrote 756,000
words, memorized the names of over 600 parts of the human body, dissected
one
cat, solved 3,000 math problems, gave 17 speeches (including this one),
made 8
visits to museums, attended 11 concerts, read over 200 books, studied for
115 tests,
and listened to 336 lectures.33 ‘
