THE STREAM OF LIFE
Like gentle drons of rain drBwn in by a desert wide,
The barren heart takes each word renlied
Into its depths, and stores it yet,
ITil it at last oterflows the soul around.
Each drop combines and forms to set
The whole in motion, to then abound
The world we hold inside.
As errant streams two courses follow,
So you and I have roamed a hollow
Plain of life. The floods of love
A useless stream for each became.
Yet, as these two streams have clove
To join and become for both, the same,
So we one tide should follow.
What more constant force could ever be,
Than that of streams so joined to see
The whole of lifets broad land?
So can two lives, down timels broad stream,
With the force of love to keep oterspanned,
The two, until the full filled dream
Takes them out on the endless sea.
