Trent Barton, owner of the new game store in FrontierVillage called M.O.B. Games and a
graduate of Lake Stevens High School.
Are you a gamer? Do you
want to know what being a
gamer is all about? Well, the
new M.O.B. (Man Overboard)
Games can help you answer
these questions and more.
Trent Barton, the store’s
owner and a Lake Stevens
High School graduate, has
been a gamer most of his life.
He started playing when he
was a kid with his relatives.
“I used to play every week-
end with my uncles and cous-
ins,” Barton said. “At first my
uncles would play poker and
we would play with our cards.
Soon poker was gone and we
were all playing Magic.”
He found that collecting the
Magic cards that go with each
game is almost as exciting as
playing the games themselves.
Barton has several coveted
cards for sale in is shop locat-
ed at 303 91st
Ave. NE, Suite
A104.
One of those cards is valued
at over $4,000. His uncle has
had it in a safe deposit box
and it’s never been touched.
The card is over 20 years old.
