Gordon (Wade) Singhose died of
cancer Saturday, December 4, at
Saint John’s Lutheran Hospital
in Libby, Montana, He was 42,
He was born May 13, 1957 in
Port Angeles to Charles and Lau-
ra Singhose. He was a Wrestler in
high school there,
He was married to Amanda
Strom of Shelton, a marriage that
ended in divorce in Montana.
After moving to Rexford in Lin»
coln County, Montana, he moved
to the Libby area four years ago.
He worked in construction,
mainly drywall contracting, for
many years throughout the
Northwest and Alaska, He was
well-known for the pride he took
in his work, and made picnic ta-
bles, planter boxes and shadow
boxes until his illness prevented
it, his family said.
He was an avid outdoorsman
and fisherman, having started to
fish and hike at a young age in
Port Angeles, His love for fishing
got him started collecting, buying
and trading antique fishing lures
and other gear, He also enjoyed
bowhunting and camping.
Surviving him are his parents,
Charles and Laura Singhose of
Port Angeles; a brother, Ken
Singhose of Port Angeles; and
sisters Jan Cannon of Fairbanks,
Alaska, and Charlotte (Cookie)
Lillard of Marysville. He was pre—
ceded in death by a sister, Shirley
Joy, in 1982.
At his request a memorial ser
vice was held Saturday, Decem»
ber 11, in Libby at the Kingdom
Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
