The Heritage Society of Pacific Grove P. O. Box 1007 Pacific Grove, CA 93950 Date: June 23, 1998 TO: Tony & Glynis Greening 981 Lighthouse Ave Pacific Grove, CA 93950 RE: Address: 981 Lighthouse Subdivision: P. G. Acres Block: 312 Lot: 1 Our maps and tax records show that the above structure was first assessed in: 1926 This means the structure was actually built early in that year, or late in the previous year. The first owner of this structure, according to the County's assessor's records was: Del Monte Properties (c/o Kemp) Other Comments: The 1926 City Directory lists Dr. Frank E. Corwin and his wife Ada Belle as residing in the house. He was a physician and may have had his office there also. The DeLorimier family resided in, and presumably owned, the house for many years, but there is no mention of that name anywhere in the County Tax books for Pacific Grove in 1926 or earlier. Our records only cover the period from 1874 through 1926. The Pacific Grove Community Development Department, at the corner of Laurel & 166, may have additional data from later years. Plaque status: El Structure is eligible for a plague and one will be made up for you at no charge. You will be notified when plague is ready. It could take 4 to 6 months. El Structure is eligible for plague, but it must be requested by the owner. ® Structure is not eligible for a plague at this time because: Built after 1920. Enclosed please find: 1926 Sanborn map. Tax assessor data through 1926. Adam Weiland Research Director , OCR Text: The Heritage Society of Pacific Grove P. O.
